On March 18-19 and 20th, we Mozillians conducted a workshop @ SASTRA University – SRC, Kumbakonam.SRCMozillians
SRCMozillians club members and all the interested students in the campus participated in the three-day workshop and learnt HTML/CSS and JS. The GUVI team started up with basics – teaching and continued developing web apps and deployed it in FFOS for TV Simulator.
The students were very interactive and learnt a lot. We Mozillians did not take the sessions to teach the students instead, this time, we sought help from a well-reputed company GUVI, Chennai. GUVI team were well known for their teachings and were experts in web application development.
So for the three days, the schedule was like mentioned below:
For the two days, GUVI team thought all the participants to develop web applications and on the Third day morning, I myself thought them to deploy the applications in the FFOS for TV simulator.
Students learnt a lot and gained a lot of knowledge about how the web works and how to create web pages.
So,we gave a chance for the participants to showcase themselves for what they have learnt for the three-days and conducted an “Activity round”, The the students were busy for 180 minutes working out with makes and developing apps.
After that some of my Faculty members came as judges and selected the best three makes and they were given with compliments.
